Few days more to go before Halloween and I can’t hide my excitement- I guess, I am more worked up than my son, lol, especially with this look which I am featuring today- – – and I cake this: Sugar Skull x Monarch Butterfly Halloween Makeup.
Just before Halloween, in case, you have not made your mind up what are you going to be, we have found another Halloween makeup “inspo” while “googling” and I just thought, it’s very cool to flaunt. Incorporating Monarch Butterfly with Sugar Skull is just a wonderful idea for a Halloween makeup. Though, I would not say, it’s an easy thing to do, because, really, it’s not- it’s very time consuming and definitely requires a lot of patience from the model- more so from the makeup artist.
Sugar Skull x Monarch Butterfly Halloween Makeup
This Halloween makeup look requires coverage from the face down to the chest, and by now, you should have figured out already why it takes a huge amount of time to pull off this look. Also, it takes a lot of orange to come up with this Halloween look, and yeah, red and yellow and so on…
What I love about this makeup look is the vibrant colour to mimic the Monarch Butterfly painted on my shoulders. I just thought, the striking colour and the pattern is catchy to the eyes. The ombre effect of red, orange, and yellow gives drama to the whole look and I was totally blown away with how this Halloween look turned out.
Below are the products that were used to come up with this look:
For coverage, my makeup artist used Ben Nye Professional Wheel and Clown White. She also used Anastasia Every Hills Lip Palette Vol. 1, Sephora Pro Pigment Palette, and Essence Kajal Pencil. Also, to moisturize my lips, I used Fresh’s Sugar Peach Hydrating Lip Balm and Fist Aid Beauty ultra Repair Cream to moisturize the skin. To remove heavy makeup, I used micellar water from L’Oreal.
So, there you have it, folks! I hope you will have a great Halloween celebration this year. I will definitely update this blog with my Halloween happenings, so stay tuned.
